Collabrify Roadmaps are here!
Digital/Remote Learning Resources
These resources were created to better support Remote Learning and provide resources for teachers. All resources could certainly be utilized whether you are instructing face to face, blended, or remotely. You are welcome to make copies and make them your own!
Slidables
Slidables were created for you to to help make your own slide decks for the lessons. These can be mixed and matched based on the activities within the lesson. A great way to customize them to your teaching style. They are geared toward the 5E Instructional Design, engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate. Within a unit you may have more than one of these types of lessons.

Jamboard Templates
Jamboard is a free Google Apps for Education tool, similar to a collaborative whiteboard. It allows multiple people to edit the Jam at the same time, and so teachers could create frames for groups or individuals. Limitations: 50 people on a Jam at a time, and up to 20 frames.
We have created templates in Jamboard that follow or highlight routines/practices in Phenomenal Science that might be helpful to you. We have included the routine icons on the board to help align to them in the lessons. Some are examples rather than a template, you would insert the content of your lesson. Directions: click any of the rows below (all contain the same link) and make a copy of the templates. You can then delete frames, reorganize them, duplicate them to best meet your instruction. Note: You cannot copy and paste frames from one Jam to another. |
There is one link for the Jamboard with all the templates included on there.
Student Digital Notebook
To support student learning throughout the unit, we have created a template for a Digital Student Notebook. This is fully customizable by the teacher to then share with students through their learning management system. The tabs are all linked to different slides/sections in the notebook. You can put templates, images for them to draw on, add the handouts, embed videos or add images. This is a great way to get information in front of students and gather their thinking. The options are endless. We have the start of a 2nd grade notebook as an example.
To use this with your students, open the file and make a copy, customize the notebook to make it just the way you want to fit with the unit, and then send out copies for your students. |

Collaboration Hub in Google Classroom
To aid in teacher collaboration, we have Google Classrooms as Collaboration Hubs for each grade level, K-5. In these Collaboration Hubs, teachers are welcome to share best practices, tips and tricks, as well as any resources that may be beneficial to others. Our goal is to create a strong community of PHENOMENAL educators and encourage them to connect with others. We can all learn more together, from each other.
If you are interested in participating and joining the Collaboration Hub, reach out to Phenomenal Science, [email protected], and tell us a little about yourself. Where do you teach, what grade levels, then we can help support your school or district to move forward.

Epic Collections
Literacy a big part of Phenomenal Science and we want to make it easier for you to have the texts at your fingertips! To do this, we have created Epic Book Collections for each unit you'll be teaching. Some units have more texts than others, but all put literacy practices to work to help students make sense of the science.
To access the Epic Book Collections, you can find them linked on the Unit Page, as well as at the top of the Links + eBooks page.

Links + eBooks
Another effort to make your life a little easier teaching science, we have put all the external links you may need in one place. On each released unit page, we have a button for the Linkes + eBooks page. This Google Doc has all links to videos, books, site links, and handouts you may need. These further help give you an at-a-glance lesson by lesson of what links you may need. We will do our best to keep these up to date, and will need your help if you find any broken links. You can submit any lesson feedback on each Teacher Guide through this Google Form.
